X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (2016): Evan Peters Teases Another Long Sequence For Quicksilver

Evan Peters Slo-Mo Scene X-Men: Days of Future Past

Evan Peters Teases A New Detailed Sequence for X-Men: Apocalypse. We can all agree that Quicksilver’s slo-mo scene in X-Men: Days of Future Past was the highlight of the film. Well, Evan Peters teased that we may see a similar sequence filmed for the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.

Evan Peters received some positive feedback for his performance in last year’s critical hit X-Men: Days of Future Past. Fans are awaiting what is coming next for the mutant speedster when he returns to the screen in next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse. During an interview with Collider, Peters shared his excitement for Quicksilver’s new, longer, bigger, and more detailed sequence, which surprisingly took about 22 days to shoot. Here’s what he said on the experience:

Yeah, Quicksilver does his thing again, in the new film. It’s bigger, longer and more detailed. I think it’s an amazing sequence that they’ve put together. Just filming it, I was like, “Oh, my god!” I think we shot for 22 days of second unit, working on the sequence, which is amazing. It’s so cool to take that much time to make something like that really pop and really work. Knock on wood, I think it’s going to be a fun and enjoyable sequence for people to watch, with Quicksilver running around and doing his thing in slow-mo time. I hope people like it.

This all sounds really good and we can’t wait to see the final cut of the sequence once the film comes out in theaters. Are you guys excited for another Quicksilver slo-mo sequence in X-Men: Apocalypse?
