Screen JunkiesX-Men: Apocalypse (2016) Honest Trailer has been released. Screen Junkies is back with a humorous review of Bryan Singer‘s fourth X-Men. FilmBook Writer Michael Smith reviewed the film during the 34 episode of FilmBookCastMufsin Mahbub reviewed X-Men: Apocalypse when it was released in theaters. He had this to say about the film:

Overall, X-Men: Apocalypse may be one of the better films of the franchise, but it doesn’t live up to the standards of the other films in what is suppose to be the finale of the prequel trilogy. The way the film ends doesn’t feel like an ending to the story that started with First Class, but it’s more of a continuation of it with a side story as the team deals with another evil villain.

X-Men: Apocalypse‘s plot synopsis: “Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible.

Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.”

X-Men: Apocalypse stars Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Lucas Till, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, Josh Helman, Lana Condor, and Ben Hardy.
