Paramount Network Gives Green Light To Original Unscripted Series Yellowstone
Paramount Network announces that it has put in its first order of episodes for the network’s proposed TV series Yellowstone.
Although the planned program will not be scripted, Academy Award-nominated Sicario screenwriter Taylor Sheridan will serve as a writer for the series in addition to directing it. The Weinstein Company will work with Fight Club producers John and Art Linson as executive producers. Describing the show as “both timely and timeless”, Sheridan said he felt “grateful” that Paramount picked it up for production.
The series will not make its debut on the network until the summer of 2018, but Paramount has already committed to 10 hour-long episodes. Whether the company will decide to continue with the program after its initial run remains to be seen.
