ZOOLANDER 2 (2016) Movie Posters: Comedy Sequels Are So Hot Right Now

Zoolander 2 Movie Posters Arrive

Zoolander 2 Movie Posters Arrive. Though my headline may seem passive/aggressive or dismissive of comedy sequels, in general, I’m actually healthily looking forward to the upcoming sequel to Zoolander (2001). Sure, it may backfire like so many other, recent comedy sequels – AnchormanDumb & Dumber, etc – but I’m pretty used to that by now, so the pain will be a subdued, easily forgotten one. Essentially – I’ll always have Zoolander, a comedy I’ve watched dozens of times and am perfectly capable of enjoying no matter how many sequels to it are made.

The posters are clever enough, and it actually feels really good to see Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson play dress-up and be silly together. It’s good to see these two guys be friends and have fun together, basically.

Take a look at the two new posters yourself! Which one do you prefer? Do you like them at all?

According to Birth.Movies.Death, “The first is all Blue Steel in the form of a cologne ad. Oddly, I see a lot of Jerry Stiller in this photo, which would probably make Derek Zoolander angry. The second features Zoolander and his nemesis-turned-friend Hansel getting tangled up while taking selfies on phones much bigger than the ones they used in the first film.”

Zoolander 2‘s plot synopsis: “Derek and Hansel are modelling again when an opposing company attempts to take them out from the business.”

Zoolander 2 also stars Kristen Wiig, Olivia Munn, Will Ferrell, Penélope Cruz, Billy Zane and Justin Bieber.
