Pre-Production for Aquaman to Begin in Australia Later This Month

Even though The Flash’s fate remains in question after it’s director left, things are still looking good for Aquaman. A new report just came out that pre-production is about to begin for James Wan’s upcoming take on the aquatic hero in Australia sometime this month.

DC Films is about to face the real test with audiences as both of their biggest films Wonder Woman and Justice League get released next year. If they don’t prove to be successful, Warner Bros. may have a huge problem with their future with DC. The following year will also be huge as the studio is looking to launch The Flash and Aquaman to audiences. Despite The Flash losing a director due to creative differences, fans are hoping that James Wan stays on board for Aquaman.

There’s some good news to that as Gold Coast Bulletin reported that pre-production is about to start in Queensland, Australia for Jason Momoa’s first solo film as the King of Atlantis. We should be seeing some set photos pretty soon once production begins next year. Until then, we can wait out these last two months of the year knowing that Aquaman will start prepping to shoot in 2017.
