Black Summer‘s plot synopsis: “When a mother (Jaime King) is separated from her daughter, she embarks on a harrowing journey, stopping at nothing to find her. It looks like the most interesting segment of this tale will be the mother’s search for her daughter during an unprecedented event. This is a common parental trope in dramas and horror films but since Netflix has no red light when it comes to content, perhaps Black Summer will be The Walking Dead good (the-first-four-seasons-The Walking Dead good).
