The theatrical movie box office results for October 7, 2022 through October 9, 2022 have been released.
Smile was Number One at the box office for the second week in a row with $17.6 Million so far.
Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile premiered in Second Place at the United States box office with $11.5 Million so far.
Amsterdam premiered in Third Place at the United States box office with $6.5 Million so far.
The Woman King was Fourth Place at the box office with $5.3 Million so far.
Don’t Worry, Darling was Fifth at the United States box office with $3.4 Million so far.
These films: Avatar, Barbarian, Bros, Terrifier 2 (which premiered this weekend), and Top Gun: Maverick rounded out the top ten respectively.

Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile is a 2022 American live-action/computer-animated musical comedy film directed by Will Speck and Josh Gordon from a screenplay by William Davies. It is an adaptation of the children’s story of the same name and its prequel The House on East 88th Street by Bernard Waber. The film stars Shawn Mendes as the titular character alongside Javier Bardem, Constance Wu, Winslow Fegley, Scoot McNairy, and Brett Gelman.
Amsterdam is a 2022 period comedy mystery film written, directed, and produced by David O. Russell. Inspired by the Business Plot, a 1930s political conspiracy, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Zoe Saldaña, Mike Myers, Michael Shannon, Timothy Olyphant, Andrea Riseborough, Taylor Swift, Matthias Schoenaerts, Alessandro Nivola, Rami Malek, and Robert De Niro.
Terrifier 2 is a 2022 American splatter film written, directed and produced by Damien Leone. It is a sequel to Terrifier (2016), and is the second film in the franchise. It features the return of David Howard Thornton and Samantha Scaffidi, who respectively portrayed Art the Clown and Victoria Heyes in the first film, and stars Lauren LaVera, Elliot Fullam, Sarah Voigt, Kailey Hyman and Casey Harnett. The story follows Art’s resurrection and pursuit of Sienna Shaw (LaVera) and her younger brother Jonathan (Fullam) on Halloween night—a year after mutilating sole survivor Victoria (Scaffidi) and committing suicide upon police confrontation.
