Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment have set screenwriter Kristin Gore to write a psychological thriller based on the Jon Ronson book The Psychopath Test. Scarlett Johansson is attached to star and Jay Roach to direct.

Inferno

Inferno…has added a trio of international stars to its cast: Omar Sy…Irrfan Khan…and Sidse Babett Knudsen

Khan will play Harry Sims, also known as The Provost. Sy will play Christoph Bruder. Knudsen will portray Dr. Elizabeth Sinskey, head of the World Health Organization.

Blumhouse Productions’ microbudgeted horror film

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones director Harald Zwart has signed on to direct Blumhouse Productions’ latest microbudgeted horror film.

X-Men: Apocalypse

director Bryan Singer announced Kodi Smit-McPhee will join the all-star cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender.

“Excited to welcome @kodismitmcphee to the cast of #XmenApocalypse as young #Nightcrawler,” Singer posted to his Instagram account on Tuesday evening.

Nightcrawler, aka Kurt Wagner, is a mutant with powers of adhesive hands and feet, major agility and the ability to teleport.
