The second TV show trailer for the Second Season of The Handmaid’s Tale has been released by Hulu. June Osborne/Offred (Elisabeth Moss), in this trailer, takes the viewer through a month in the life of a Handmaid, the causal horrors of Gilead that are commonplace in their lives. “Seriously, what the actual….” is right.
The teaser trailer sums up the conditioning that the Handmaids endured and the realities that they faced during Season One of the award-winning TV series. From the teaser trailer, it looks as though the viewer is going to get to see the back story of Emily/Ofglen (Alexis Bledel).
The Handmaid’s Tale: Season 2’s plot synopsis: “The 13-episode second season will be shaped by Offred’s pregnancy and her ongoing fight to free her future child from the dystopian horrors of Gilead. “Gilead is within you” is a favorite saying of Aunt Lydia. In Season 2, Offred and all characters will fight against – or succumb to – this dark truth.”
The Handmaid’s Tale: Season 2 also stars Jordana Blake, Madeline Brewer, Amanda Brugel, Ann Dowd, Clea DuVall, O-T Fagbenle, Joseph Fiennes, Ericka Kreutz, Jonathan Malen, Max Minghella, Alana Pancyr, Ipsita Paul, and Yvonne Strahovski.
