Kong: Skull Island International Trailer

The first international movie trailer for Kong: Skull Island (2017) has been released. This promo is basically a shorter version of the trailer released for Kong: Skull Island at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con International. Many of the key cast member are not present in this trailer. The advantage that this trailer has over its predecessor is that it gets to the point, King Kong, far quicker.

This King Kong film is supposed to be part of a shared cinematic universe, like Marvel, DC, and now the Cloverfield film franchise. King Kong will eventually meet the new Godzilla but that is some years away.

Kong: Skull Island‘s plot synopsis: “In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific – as beautiful as it is treacherous – unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.”

Jordan Vogt-RobertsKong: Skull Island stars Tom Hiddleston, Toby Kebbell, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly, Thomas Mann, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, Will Brittain, John Ortiz, Terry Notary, John West Jr., Tian Jing, Samuel L. Jackson, and John Goodman.
