Final Trailer of Logan Reveals a Feisty X-23
It won’t be long now until fans see Hugh Jackman’s supposed swan song as Wolverine in Logan and we got a final trailer for James Mangold’s upcoming film. The new trailer offers more of what we can expect in Wolverine’s final film, and it’s well worth the wait.
The final trailer for Logan starts off with Dafne Keen’s Laura as she starts taking food out of a convenience store and ends up confronting the store clerk for stealing. Luckily, Logan comes out to stop her before she ended up killing the man and return to their hideout where we see Patrick Stewart’s weary Professor X waiting for them. We soon get to meet the Reavers, which is led by Boyd Holbrook’s Donald Pierce as they attempt to take away Laura. It’s when Laura comes out of the warehouse and ends up attacking them as X-23. We end up seeing some great action sequences as Wolverine and X-23 team-up to take down the Reavers while they survive in the desert.
Based on the trailer and synopsis, we see that Wolverine and Professor X are out hiding in the Mexican border. However, that all changes for these two former X-Men after they meet the young mutant Laura and is later pursued by the Reavers. We don’t know if Laura is actually the clone of Wolverine, but seeing her claws coming out in the trailer and her similar fighting style like Logan may suggest otherwise.
