Han Solo Film Begins Principal Photography

With a new Star Wars film coming out this year, work has already started for the standalone Han Solo movie. Co-director Chris Miller officially announced the news that they have already kicked off filming the Star Wars spin-off with an amazing image from the set.

Half of the directing duo Chris Miller shared a photo on his Twitter page confirming production has started for the upcoming Han Solo film. The image from Miller’s photo has the words ‘Star Wars: Red Cup” edged in the name, but we are pretty sure this won’t be the final title for the new Star Wars anthology film. He also captioned on his feed saying, “Han shot first”. A good play on words from Miller, so it should get Star Wars fans all over the world excited for the new film.

Even though the film’s plot is being kept a secret, we do know that the film will focus on the early days of Han Solo’s career as a bounty hunter and space smuggler. The film will feature younger versions of Lando and Chewie. The Han Solo film will star Alden Ehrenreich as the young Solo along with Donald Glover as the young Lando. Recently, Woody Harrelson was cast as Solo’s mentor Garris Shrike. Are you excited for the new Han Solo film to come out soon?
