The Justice League Part One is Starting Production This Spring. The DC Cinematic Universe is ramping up with the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will soon be followed by The Justice League Part One in 2017. The Justice League Part One will begin film production on April 11, 2016 in Iceland, Warner Bros. Leavesden studios in southeast England, and locations in London under the direction of Zack Snyder.

Synder is already in the United Kingdom preparing for the start of the shoot.

This news is in despite of earlier reports that Warner Bros. execs were none too pleased with reactions to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. After the release of the Doomsday Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer, the film received many negative reactions.

From what I have heard, the “reactions” are from screenings, not critic screenings because those would have leaked already (e.g. a Tweet “I have seen BvS and its X Y Z”), but with industry personnel, probably followed by an anonymous survey or raw, constructive criticism.

This is speculation and hearsay but after the last two Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailers, I am looking forward to Suicide Squad far more than I am to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. There are unnecessary elements in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. What was initially presented as a lean, mean, potentially great follow-up to the destruction of Metropolis at the end of Man of Steel seems to be something ‘more’ and ‘different’ than initially suspected.

Regardless, Warner Bros. is all in on the Justice League, Batman, Superman, and the rest of the DC Universe and fans will be as well.

The Justice League Part One will be released on November 17, 2017. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. will be released on March 25, 2016.
