The quality of the picture is clear, allowing you to take in the post-apocalyptic world. There’s a lot of use of the color green in this movie that shows up really well.


A good sound mix. Dialogue is sometimes drowned out by other diagetic sound but overall a perfectly competent soundscape.

“Unwrap the Secret World of The Girl with All the Gifts” Featurette – A behind-the-scenes featurette with cast interviews regarding the making of the film. The highlight here is Glenn Close explaining how helped her sister-in-law achieve a lifelong goal by getting her cast as a zombie.

Rating: 5/10 – The film itself might be worth a watch, but as far as Blu-rays go this is pretty basic. Only one special feature to boast of makes The Girl with All the Gifts a non-essential purchase,
