HARRY BROWN Movie Trailer

harry-brown-movie-trailer-header

The Harry Brown Movie Trailer has premiered. Harry Brown is a film directed by Daniel Barber and starring Michael CaineEmily MortimerIain GlenJack O’Connell and Liam Cunningham. Harry Brown is a revenge film in the vein of Man on Fire, Taken and the Death Wish and Punisher (lol!) films. It has been sometime since I saw Michael Caine in a role with grit like this. The last time might have been Get Carter (1971). Good film. I liked seeing Caine’s Carter explode. I hope he brings the same intensity to Brown. Harry Brown plot synopsis: “Harry Brown (Caine) is an elderly widower and former Marine who has lived to see his neighbourhood overrun by violent gangs, drugs and crime. When his best friend Leonard (Bradley) is brutally murdered and the gang leader responsible walks free, Harry finds himself snapping. Soon, his desire for revenge leads to the unlikely vigilante facing up to the young thugs, with terrifying results.” Sounds good to me. Check out the Harry Brown Movie Trailer below. Do you think Harry Brown will be as good a revenge film as Taken? Harry Brown opens November 13, 2009.
