Al Pacino Paterno

Paterno Trailer

Barry Levinson‘s Paterno (2018) teaser trailer stars Al Pacino, Riley Keough, Annie Parisse, Greg Grunberg, and Larry Mitchell. Paterno‘s plot synopsis: “Paterno centers on Penn State’s Joe Paterno in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal. After becoming the winningest coach in college football history, Paterno’s legacy is challenged and he is forced to face questions of institutional failure in regard to the victims.”

When this story broke, everyone was surprised, sickened, and horrified. The ramifications went far and beyond anything that had come before it beside the Catholic Church story that the Boston Globe broke. Pacino looks as though he gives another standout performance and Barry Levinson is a great director. Their work together in You Don’t Know Jack most-likely led to the artists working again together on Paterno.
