The Expendables Promo Movie Trailer

The Expendables Promo Movie Trailer has leaked online. The Expendables is directed by Sylvester Stallone and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Brittany Murphy, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis and  Charisma Carpenter. The Expendables synopsis: “A team of the world’s most dangerous and highly-trained mercenaries go on a mission to South America to overthrow and assassinate a powerful, evil dictator and his army, who have been causing devastation, chaos and torture for the last twenty years.”

The trailer for The Expendables is most definitely a promo trailer for distributors, much like the leaked promo trailer for John Rambo. I liked seeing all of the kings of action in one film but The Expendables‘ story needs to be solid. This is no longer the late 80’s early 90’s anymore where you could get away with action, a vapid story, tons of explosions, and great stunts. It is very cool seeing Dolph Lungren in a main stream role again and I am looking forward to the cameos by Schwarzenegger and Willis. The Expendables will be released August 20, 2010.
