The Canyons Trailer. Paul Schrader‘s The Canyons (2013) movie trailer stars Lindsay Lohan, Nolan Gerard Funk, James Deen, Gus Van Sant, and Amanda Brooks. The Canyons‘ plot synopsis: written by Bret Easton Ellis, “While calculating young movie producer Christian (Deen) makes films to keep his trust fund intact, his actress girlfriend, Tara (Lohan), hides an affair with an actor from her past. But Christian becomes aware which thrusts the young Angelenos into a violent, sexually-charged tour through the dark side of human nature.”

Four teaser trailers have come before this official trailer. This is the best look at the film yet.

The Canyons also stars Tenille Houston, Michelle LaRue, Lauren Schacher, Victor of Aquitaine, Jarod Einsohn, Philip Pavel, Alex Ashbaugh, and Matthew Hoffman.

    I thought this movie had a trailer that came out late last year? I wonder what took so long for the final cut. If anyone has read the NYT’s article regarding Lindsay’s behavior during production, you might guess as to all the difficulties in producing a cohesive film, but it still surprises me that this film took this long to produce, film, edit and premiere.
