The 100: Red Queen Trailer
The TV show trailer for The CW’s The 100: ‘Red Queen,’ feature stars Eliza Taylor, Marie Avgeropoulos, Henry Ian Cusick, Paige Turco, and Isaiah Washington. Guest stars include Adina Porter, Tati Gabrielle, and Jessica Harmon.
We’ve seen what 6+ years of Post-Praimfaya has done to (and for) Clarke (Eliza Taylor); we’ve seen a bit about how the rest of her Mission: Impossible crew had made out, since mission: accomplished; we’ve even been given some idea of what the next season-long Battle for the Ground (the remaining green bits, anyway) could look like. With the next installment of The 100, however, we get our first look at what became of the rest – blended, bunkered, and hunkered-down for all that time – and what they might wind up bringing to that fight.
More to the point, we get to see how Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) went about making it work, then keeping it going. If the trailer is any indication, it was a messy effort, to say the least. Saving as many as possible, in the face of dwindling resources, remained the heavy lift of the multi-faction arrangement; and since Jaha’s (Isaiah Washington) 2 cents always seem to call for either triage, or a culling, someone has to get hands-on-dirty.
Guess who claims that title?
Beyond an opportunity for Octavia to kill 2 birds with 1 stone (save lives & cull mad cows from the herd), there will also be the matter of just how her relationship with the fatally pragmatic Jaha has/ will evolve.
Allies, frenemies, or enemies? Given how relationships tend to go musical chairs, on this show, there’s always room for all of the above.
‘Red Queen’ airs May 1, at 9:00 pm EST, on The CW.
