2017-2018 Release Dates: WONDER WOMAN, JUSTICE LEAGUE, AVATAR 2
The Theatrical Release Schedule for Wonder Woman, Justice League Part One, Avatar 2, and other films have been revealed. The announced release dates and the adjusted release schedules are between 2017 and 2018. All the release dates are subject to change by their producers and/or their distributors.
Wonder Woman will be released in United States theaters on June 23, 2017 through Warner Bros. Justice League Part One and Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas will be released in United States theaters on November 17, 2017.
Avatar 2 has been moved from its December 15th, 2017 release date following Star War: Episode VIII‘s move to that release date, from May 26th, 2017, yesterday. This move by Avatar 2 was a calculation to be expected. Avatar 2, no matter how successful the first film was, would be overshadowed by Star War: Episode VIII. The goodwill that Star War: The Force Awakens has built with fans and at the box office are two obstacles that 20th Century Fox did not want to face.
I doubt Avatar 2 will have its release date moved up, since the 3D special effects have to be completed, so the film will most-likely be pushed back to 2018.
The Mummy remake, starring Tom Cruise, through Universal Pictures will be released on June 9, 2017.
