Suicide Squad To Return on Arrow This Season. The CW hit series is about to bring the supervillain team back together when the Suicide Squad returns during Arrow’s 18th episode. However, some of the team members will return while new ones will be added to the roster.

Also known as Task Force X, ET reported that the Suicide Squad would be featured in the episode ‘Suicidal Tendencies’ as the team will have a new line of antiheroes. Those returning to the team include Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) and Deadshot (Michael Rowe). Amy Gumenick will also return as Cupid, who gets enlisted as a new member of the team. The team will be on a mission that involves corrupt politician Senator Cray (Steven Culp). In the comics, Senator Cray hired the Squad to move ahead in his political career.

The last time that the Suicide Squad appeared on Arrow was during the second season featuring the likes of Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, Shrapnel, Lyla Michaels, and John Diggle.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. is also giving Suicide Squad the big screen treatment releasing in 2016 with David Ayer at the helm and an all-star cast including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevinge, and Viola Davis.
