HBO‘s Avenue 5 (2020) teaser trailer has been released and stars Hugh Laurie, Josh Gad, Suzy Nakamura, Zach Woods, and Lenora Crichlow.

Plot Synopsis

Avenue 5‘s plot synopsis: “The vacation you never knew you needed.

From VEEP creator Armando Iannucci, this HBO comedy series follows Space captain Ryan Clark (Hugh Laurie), of the Avenue 5, as he tries to get along with others in the space tourism industry.

When the ship suddenly malfunctions in the middle of space, the captain tries to rally his crew to ensure the safety of the passengers. But it’s not long before panic sets in, turning everyone into a mob of angry dissenters.”

Avenue 5‘s also stars Ethan Phillips, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Rebecca Front, and Himesh Patel.

Armando Iannucci is the writer of the screenplays for this series. He also directed the pilot episode.
