BATMAN V SUPERMAN (2016): Jeremy Irons Says Film Deserved Bad Reviews

Jeremy Irons Batman V Superman

Jeremy Irons Thinks Batman v Superman’s Bad Reviews Were Justified. Almost everyone thought Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was pretty bad, and most of them thought it deserved it. It even held true for actor Jeremy Irons, who played Bruce Wayne’s trusty butler Alfred.

Jeremy Iron had a great role to play in what was a surprising disappointment for a film that was on everyone’s radar, and the actor thought it earned those poor reviews. “Deservedly so. I mean it took £800 million, so the kicking didn’t matter, but it was sort of overstuffed,” the actor told the Daily Mail. “It was very muddled. I think the next one will be simpler. The script is certainly a lot smaller, it’s more linear.”

We don’t know if Irons is talking about his appearance in the upcoming Justice League: Part One or the planned Batman solo movie. I’m tied into the Batman at the minute, which is nice because it’s a bit of income,” he said, adding, “Not that I need a bit of income but it’s nice to keep ticking over.”

Do you guys agree with Jeremy Irons on the film’s poor performance?
