HBO‘s Big Little Lies: Season 2 teaser trailer stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and, Zoe Kravitz. Big Little Lies: Season 2’s plot synopsis has not been released. The reason for that is humorous. Big Little Lies is based on the book by Liane Moriarty. Apparently, “the content of that book was covered in the first season.” Big Little Lies was supposed to be a one-season TV mini-series. “But after the show became a big hit, everyone involved changed their minds and decided to bring it back for more.”

Meryl Streep is joining this season of Big Little Lies in the role of Mary Louise Wright, the mother of Perry from Season One.
