I have been hearing about this film for over a year. I would seem all of the talk, all of the early buzz, was accurate. Present day scenes and flash backs seem like they will be the framework for this war / homeland film. This is a star-making role for Joe Alwyn. The weight of most of the film seems to be on his shoulders and it looks like Alwyn delivers with skilled supporting work by many notables.

Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk also stars Chris Tucker, Deirdre Lovejoy, Ben Platt, Tim Blake Nelson, Makenzie Leigh, Beau Knapp, Deena Dill, Kimberly Battista, Gregory Alan Williams, Astro, and Jackie Dallas.
