BONE TOMAHAWK (2015) Movie Posters: Kurt Russell Western Gets Character Sheets

Bone Tomahawk Posters Arrive

Bone Tomahawk Character One-Sheet Posters Have Arrived. There’s a new Western in town, and Kurt Russell’s in it. Sold. This is an actor who oozes ‘cool’, who has been in some of the best genre films ever, and who seems to just get cooler with age. What a fucking badass.

According to Phil Nobile Jr. of Birth.Movies.Death, DO NOT WATCH THE TRAILER for this film. It makes it look like a schlocky piece of shit and spoils some Act 2 beats that are better left discovered upon watching the film. What you can look at though, are these gorgeous new character posters featuring Kurt Russell, Matthew FoxPatrick Wilson, Lili Simmons, and Richard Jenkins.

This reminds me of how shitty the The Hateful Eight (2015) movie posters are. Why cant the Weinstein Company make their marketing for Tarantino movies resemble something like this? Beautiful photography, each character doing something or looking a particular way, etc. Simple, gorgeous.

Also – could this be the role Matthew Fox was looking for post-Lost? He looks batshit crazy here, and could steal the movie if his character is memorable outlaw loon. I suppose we’ll see!

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
