Box Office: Dec. 25-27, 2009

The tall Smurfs did it again. Avatar was Number One at the box office for the second weekend in a row with $75 Million for a total of $212.2 Million so far. Sherlock Holmes premiered in Second Place with $65.3 Million. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel premiered in Third Place with $50.2 Million. It’s Complicated premiered in Fourth with $22.1 Million. Up in the Air was Fifth with $11.7 Million. The Blind Side, The Princess and the Frog, Nine, Did you Hear About the Morgans?, and Invictus rounded out the top ten respectively.
