Box Office Feb. 26-28, 2016. Deadpool was Number One at the box office over the weekend for the third week in a row with $31.5 Million for $285.6 Million so far in the U.S. ($324.1 Million in foreign markets). In total world-wide, Deadpool has brought in $609.8 Million. Gods of Egypt premiered in Second Place with $14 Million. Kung Fu Panda 3 was Third with $9 Million for $128.4 Million so far. Risen was Fourth with $7 Million. Eddie the Eagle premiered in Fifth Place with $6.3 Million. Triple 9 (which premiered this weekend), How to Be Single, The WitchRace, and The Revenant rounded out the top ten respectively.

Gods of Egypt is a 2016 fantasy film featuring ancient Egyptian deities. The United States-Australia production is directed by Alex Proyas and stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Brenton Thwaites, Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Yung, Courtney Eaton, Rufus Sewell, with Gerard Butler and Geoffrey Rush. Butler plays the god of darkness Set who takes over the Egyptian empire, and Thwaites plays the mortal hero Bek who partners with the god Horus, played by Coster-Waldau, to save the world and rescue his love.

Eddie the Eagle is a 2016 British-American biographical sports dramedy film directed by Dexter Fletcher with a screenplay by Sean Macaulay and Simon Kelton. The film stars Taron Egerton as Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards, a British skier who in 1988 became the first competitor to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping. Hugh Jackman and Christopher Walken also star.

Triple 9 is a 2016 American crime thriller drama film directed by John Hillcoat and written by Matt Cook. The film stars an ensemble cast featuring Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Norman Reedus, Woody Harrelson, Kate Winslet, Clifton Collins, Jr., Michael K. Williams, Teresa Palmer, and Gal Gadot.
