Looks like more than a few people excepted the proposal. The Proposal premiered in the Number One spot at the box office this weekend with $34.1 Million. The Hangover was Second with $26.8 Million for a total of $152.9 Million. Up was Third with $21.3 Million for a total of $224.1 Million. Year One premiered this weekend in Fourth Place with $20 Million. The Taking of Pelham 123 was Fifth with $11.3 Million. Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Star Trek, Land of the Last, Imagine That and Terminator Salvation rounded out the top respectively.
