Box Office: Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2009

Taken takes it. The long delayed film Taken premiered this weekend in the Number One spot at the box office with $24.6 Million. Paul Blart: Mall Cop was Second with $14 Million. The Uninvited premiered this weekend in Third Place with $10.5 Million. Hotel for Dogs was Fourth with $8.7 Million. Gran Torino was Fifth with $8.6 Million for a total of $110.5 Million so far. Slumdog Millionaire, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, New in Town (which premiered this weekend), My Bloody Valentine 3-D and Inkheart rounded out the top ten respectively.
