Box Office: Weekend of June 6-8, 2008

A family-friendly animated Kung-fu flick took the top spot this weekend. Kung Fu Panda, which premiered this weekend, was Number One with $60 Million. In second place was You Don’t Mess with the Zohan with $40 Million. The crapfest that is Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was third this weekend with $21.3 Million bringing its total to $253 Million. Sex and the City, The Strangers, Iron Man (its total is now at $288 Million), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspain, What Happens in Vegas, Baby Mama and Made of Honor rounded out the top respectively.
