BRIDGE OF SPIES (2015) Movie Trailer 2: This U.K. Trailer Is Even Better

Bridge Of Spies U.K. Trailer. Steven Spielberg‘s Bridge of Spies (2015) movie trailer stars Tom Hanks, Mark Rylance, Scott Shepherd, Amy Ryan, and Sebastian Koch. Bridge of Spies’ plot synopsis: Bridge of Spies “tells the story of James Donovan, a Brooklyn lawyer who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot.”

We received our first trailer for Spielberg’s new spy thriller just over a month ago, and as far as I’m concerned – it didn’t play so well. Yes, people claim they’re excited, and I shouldn’t have any reason to disbelieve that. However, I’m one of the biggest Spielberg fans I know, and even I was left a little cold at the end of that first trailer. It seemed a little too conventional, bland, and a little too plain for my taste. This is coming from a guy who loves some of Spielberg’s latest output, including Lincoln, and has a deep love for Munich (my personal favourite of his in the post-2000’s).

In any case, this new U.K. trailer does a far better job of hooking me in. It’s suspenseful, it seems serious, and it makes me want to see more. I am now officially excited for Spielberg’s newest film, and I’m glad that’s the case. With a cast including Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg as director, and a script by the Coen Brothers – excitement should definitely be the status quo.
