CABIN FEVER (2016) Movie Trailer: Eli Roth-Produced Remake of His Horror Film

Nadine Crocker Cabin Fever

Cabin Fever Trailer. Travis Zariwny‘s Cabin Fever (2016) movie trailer stars Gage Golightly, Matthew Daddario, Nadine Crocker, Dustin Ingram, and Samuel Davis. Cabin Fever‘s plot synopsis: “A group of five college graduates rent a cabin in the woods and begin to fall victim to a horrifying flesh-eating virus, which attracts the unwanted attention of the homicidal locals.”

I was very surprised to hear that Eli Roth‘s Cabin Fever was getting a remake. After seeing the trailer for the remake, it doesn’t look that bad. The remake actually changes a few things around e.g. Winston is a girl in the remake and events have been modified as well. A few scenes seem to have been upgraded from their previous incarnation.

I wonder if the “I made it” scene will make it into the remake?

The comedy (Pancakes!) and the viciousness of the disease is what sold the original horror film and put Eli Roth on the map before Hostel was released. That type of trajectory is unusual but it is what Roth got to experience. He has remained a talked-about horror director to this day but his latest films have not been as critically well-received like his first ones were.

Cabin Fever also stars Randy Schulman, Louise Linton, Jason Rouse, Eli Roth, Teresa Decher, George Griffith, and Ted Pfeifer.
