The Jesus Tapes

Writer-director Rick Pamplin stages this faith-themed drama as found footage. VHS tapes bought at a Florida storage-unit auction hold episodes of a Los Angeles public access talk show, hosted by Pamplin, on which a man calling himself Jesus is interviewed after a scheduled guest cancels. His message of peace and forgiveness is met mostly with mockery from the media and the public.
