More on the plot of the film:
the new, upcoming post-apocalyptic science-fiction drama sees Hanks as Finch, a lowly engineer who has survived a cataclysmic solar flare that has nearly demolished the planet. The solar radiation has also turned most of America into a desert wasteland.
To survive the increasing hot-boiling weather conditions, Finch must embark on a cross-country road trip in a suped-up RV. He is accompanied only by his beloved dog, and a newly built A.I. robot (voiced and motion-captured by Get Out’s Caleb Landry Jones).
