Hulu‘s The First (2018) TV show trailer stars Sean Penn, Rey Lucas, Brian Lee Franklin, T.C. Matherne, and LisaGay Hamilton. The First‘s plot synopsis: “Any time people venture into the unknown, there is a cost. The First tells the stories of those that would venture there. Set in the near future (2030), this groundbreaking story explores the challenges of taking the first steps towards Mars. Viewers will get an intimate look at the dedicated characters trying to reach the unknown while dealing with the psychological and physical toll it takes to achieve the impossible.”

The First also stars Hannah Ware, James Ransone, Anna Jacoby-Heron, Oded Fehr, Natascha McElhone, Keiko Agena, Melissa George, and D.W. Moffett.

The First was created by Beau Willimon, and written Willimon, Francesca Sloane and AJ Marechal.
