GAME OF THRONES: Full Length TV Show Trailer: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Sophie Turner, Game of Thrones

The Game of Thrones Full Length TV Show Trailer has premiered. The 2011 Game of Thrones full length TV Show trailer showcases the main cast including Nikolaj Coster-WaldauMark AddyLena HeadeySean Bean, Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Emilia ClarkeJason Momoa, Sophie Turner, Rory McCann and many others for the HBO series. The best part about this TV show trailer is that we get to see motivations of certain groups and a few personality quirks. I also hear that the TV Show trailer has an abundant amount of references to the book series that fans are going ape sh*t about (along with the news that the fifth book in the series – A Dance with Dragons – has been finished and will be released on July 12, 2011). I haven’t read the book series yet so I can’t comment on those references. HBO’s adaption follows (spoilers) “Seven noble families fight[ing] for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Political and sexual intrigue abound. The primary families are the Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon families. Robert Baratheon, King of Westeros, asks his old friend Eddard Stark to serve as his chief advisor. Eddard, suspecting that his predecessor had been murdered, accepts so that he can investigate further. It turns out more than one family is plotting to take the throne. The Queen’s family, the Lannisters, may be hatching a plot to take control. Across the sea, the last surviving members of the previously deposed ruling family, the Targaryens, are also plotting a return to power. The conflict between these families and others, including the Greyjoys, the Tullys, the Arryns, and the Tyrells, leads to war. Meanwhile, in the north, an ancient evil awakens. Amidst war and the political confusion, a brotherhood of misfits, The Night’s Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and the horrors beyond.” The Game of Thrones “Iron Throne” Trailer was released earlier this week. Watch the Game of Thrones full length TV Show trailer below and leave your thoughts on it. Game Of Thrones will premiere on April 17, 2011 on HBO.
