Its sequel – Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence – began good but was far too heavy on philosophy quotes. This film seems to get back to the basics that made the first film great. The face-lift doesn’t hurt either. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society is being
converted into stereoscopic 3D and it will also get a newly animated opening sequence. The film will be screened in Japan on March 26 2011 with Kenji Kamiyama reprising his role as director of the film. Ghost in the shell is an adaptation of the manga Ghost in the Shell by Masamune Shirow
