Homeland Season 5 Promo 2. Showtime‘s Homeland: Season 5 TV show trailer 2 stars Miranda Otto, Alexander Fehling, Sebastian Koch, Sarah Sokolovic, and Claire Danes. Homeland: Season 5’s plot synopsis: “Homeland will pick up two years after Carrie Mathison’s ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the “war on terror,” Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working as the head of security for a German philanthropist.”

This is a very different season than any of the other seasons before it if this trailer is taken on face value. I like how they brought the real world (hacks and leaks) into the tissue of this season.
