Nguyen-Anh Nguyen‘s Hyperlight (2018) short film stars Jeananne Goossen, Peter Shinkoda, and Caroline Dhavernas. Hyperlight‘s plot synopsis: “Two elite astronauts wake up in the abyss of space; they return to their stranded ship and discover the surprising reason behind their mission’s catastrophic failure.”

Loved this short film. It looked high-end – great effects (thanks to advancements in VFX) – plus the action and drams kept me engaged.

Director Nguyen-Anh Nguyen directed another short film, Temple, which we published in 2015. Both short films deal with moral questions.
