Ip Man 3 Teaser Trailer 2. Wilson Yip‘s Ip Man 3 / Yip Man 3 (2015) teaser trailer stars Donnie Yen, Mike Tyson, Patrick Tam, Jin Zhang, and Lynn Hung. Ip Man 3‘s plot synopsis: “‘Ip Man 3’ is a biographical martial arts film based on the life of Wing Chun Grandmaster Yip Man…In the film, Tyson plays a street fighter and property agent…[while] rival Wing Chun Grandmaster who believes his style of the martial art is the true one.”

We previously reported on this film when the first teaser came out. For context – I adore kung-fu movies, and though I’ve left my early stages of watching any and every single kung-fu flick I could get my hands on, I’m still very much excited to give films of this stature a shot. I really liked the first Ip Man film, and have to catch up on its sequel before watching this trilogy-capper.

According to Birth.Movies.Death, “Did the world need a third Ip Man movie? Probably not, though I do imagine people wanting more Bruce Lee. Do we need a movie where Donnie Yen fights Mike Tyson? Yes we did. Case closed on the trial of Ip Man 3’s legitimacy. Seriously though. Donnie Yen is back. Director Yip Wilson is back. Mike Tyson seems game. Donnie Yen appears to take on an entire town of dudes. This is must see stuff.”

I wholeheartedly agree.
