Chad Stahelski‘s John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) teaser trailer and movie poster from the 2016 New York Comic Con stars Keanu Reeves, Common, Ruby Rose, Laurence Fishburne, and Ian McShane. John Wick: Chapter 2‘s plot synopsis: “legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.”

I saw John Wick on a recommendation and was surprised by the little nuisances of the film and its action. John Wick: Chapter 2 seems as though it ups the ante. Summit Entertainment obviously gave director Chad Stahelski far more money then they did for the first film ($20 Mil) and its shows. The sets are far more lavish, the stunts are bigger, and there are far more movie stars involved this time around. Laurence Fishburne shows up in this trailer as The Bowler King and gives the trailer an effective voice over.

Ruby Rose doesn’t do much in this trailer besides being protected by a gaggle of armed guards. In her last shot in the trailer (no pun intended), it does look as though she gets in on the action.

John Wick: Chapter 2 also stars Thomas Sadoski, Heidi Moneymaker, Aly Mang, Riccardo Scamarcio, Toshiko Onizawa, Marko Caka, Bridget Moynahan, Peter Stormare, John Leguizamo, and Lance Reddick.
