KIDNAP (2016) Movie Trailer: Halle Berry’s Turbo Mini-Van Chases Down Kidnappers

Halle Berry Kidnap

Kidnap Trailer

Luis Prieto‘s Kidnap (2016) movie trailer stars Halle Berry, Sage Correa, Chris McGinn, Lew Temple, and Robert Walker Branchaud. Kidnap‘s plot synopsis: “The film is a heart-stopping action thriller following a mother (Berry) who will stop at nothing to rescue her kidnapped son.”

This film looks absolutely ridiculous, disposable, and hilarious. I was smiling as I watched this trailer. How does Halle Berry’s Mini-van keep up with a V-8 Ford Mustang? Is the Mini-van’s engine supercharged? Does the mini-van have a turbo, 300 horse power engine? NOS? Seeing that Mini-van somehow keep up with the Mustang made the trailer more of a comedy reel than a action film promo. Kidnap is a late eighties, early nineties film. Kidnap is over twenty years too late.

Kidnap also stars Dana Gourrier, Malea Rose, Ritchie Montgomery, Erica Curtis, Kurt Krause, Lucky Johnson, Met Salih, Didi Costine, and Kristin McKenzie Rice.
