Krypton Trailer

SYFY‘s Krypton teaser trailer from the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con International stars Cameron Cuffe, Georgina Campbell, Ian McElhinney, Elliot Cowan, and Ann Ogbomo. Krypton‘s plot synopsis: “Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe, The Halcyon) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.”

This television series looks better than I thought it would look. We will have to wait for the full trailer to get a good impression of the series. Krypton, however, already looks better than the Inhumans TV series. Inhumans seems bland in comparison to what Krypton is offering the viewer in multiple areas: production design, VFX, back storyline, excitement, etc. Perhaps that is because Krypton is on SYFY thus they can get away with edgier content.

Krypton also stars Rasmus Hardiker, Aaron Pierre, Oliver Cotton, and Phill Langhorne.

The people and companies behind-the-scenes of Krypton: Krypton is being executive produced by David S. Goyer through Phantom Four. David S. Goyer and Ian Goldberg wrote the screenplay for the pilot episode of Krypton. The characters in the screenplay are based on DC Comics characters created by Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel. Damian Kindler will serve as Krypton‘s showrunner and executive producer. Krypton is being produced by Warner Horizon Television.
