Lizzie Trailer

Craig William Macneill‘s Lizzie (2018) movie trailer stars Chloë Sevigny, Kristen Stewart, Jamey Sheridan, Fiona Shaw, and Kim Dickens. Lizzie‘s plot synopsis: “Academy Award® nominee Chloë Sevigny (Boys Don’t Cry, “Big Love”) stars as Lizzie Borden, the notorious woman at the heart of one of the most enduring mysteries in American history. After a lifetime of loneliness, Lizzie finds a kindred spirit in housemaid Bridget Sullivan (Kristen Stewart) and their secret intimacy sparks an unthinkable act. Director Craig William Macneill (The Boy (2015), “Channel Zero: Candle Cove”) explores the days leading up to the savage crimes in a dark tale of repression, exploitation and thwarted dreams.”

Hollywood creates a plethora of drama films, whether that is a mainstream film or an independent film. Very few grab the viewers attention beyond the sparkle that the trailer for the film portrays. Lizzie is not one of those films. On the contrary, Lizzie looks like it will meet the viewers expectation for the film. The trailer saying that the viewer won’t believe the ending of the film is a rather effective ploy as well…unless you are familiar with Lizzie Borden and her story.
