MORTAL KOMBAT: LEGACY: Season 1, Episode 2: Jax, Sonya, and Kano (Part 2)

Mortal KombatLegacySeason 1Episode 2 – entitled Jax, Sonya, and Kano (Part 2) – has premiered. Episode 2 of Kevin Tancharoen‘s Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011) stars Jeri Ryan, Michael Jai White, Darren Shahlavi, and Tahmoh PenikettMortal Kombat: Legacy: Season 1, Episode 2’s plot synopsis: “When Jax realizes time is of the essence to save Sonya, a fellow lieutenant in the Outworld Investigation Agency, from Kano’s deadly hand, he holds nothing back in this action-packed, two-on-one battle to keep a shipment of stolen Robotic Defense Program material out of Kano’s hands. But can Jax and Sonya do it? Kano is a ruthless, evil leader of the “Black Dragon” international crime organization, and anyone who’s tried to take him down has never lived to tell about it!” This episode was not as exciting as Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Season 1, Episode 1 – Jax, Sonya, and Kano (Part 1) until the viewer reaches the end of the Jax (Michael Jai White) and Kano (Darren Shahlavi) fight. The viewer will not see that ending coming. It may remind some of the Ashur (Nick Tarabay)/Dagan (Shane Rangi) fight in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena where Dagan was maimed. Good thing those robotics are around. The ending to this episode is really Terminator-ish. Two questions: What did they put into his head that the robotic eye connects to and second, what is powering the eye? His bodies’ BTUs? These are questions that will never be addressed. Concerning the issue with Jax’s back and his arm damage, the viewer that has played the Mortal Kombat videogames Mortal Kombat: Legacy is based on knows what this is going to led to. Watch Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Season 1, Episode 2: Jax, Sonya, and Kano (Part 2) below and leave your thoughts on it. What did you think of this episode of Mortal Kombat: Legacy?
