OUTCAST: Season 1 Trailer: Patrick Fugit Fights Demonic Possession [Cinemax, NYCC 2015]

Patrick Fugit Outcast

Outcast NYCC 2015 Promo. Cinemax‘s Outcast TV show trailer from the 2015 New York Comic Con stars Julia Crockett, Wrenn Schmidt, Patrick Fugit, Gabriel Bateman, and Reg E. Cathey. Outcast‘s plot synopsis: “It’s a supernatural horror that chronicles the story of Kyle Barnes, a man whose loved ones are involved in demonic possession since his childhood. As an adult, with the help of a reverend, he tries to unveil what lies behind the supernatural manifestations and why he seems to carry special peculiarities.”

I really enjoyed the beginning of this trailer with Kyle Barnes seeming to hear the thoughts of everyone all around him. Were those projections from his own troubled mind or could he really hear what was going on in their heads?

The ending to the trailer was a surprise and put Barnes current condition into perspective.
