PANDEMIC (2016) Movie Trailer: Rachel Nichols Tries to Survive Virus Outbreak

Rachel Nichols Pandemic

Pandemic Trailer. John SuitsPandemic (2016) movie trailer stars Rachel Nichols, Alfie Allen, Pat Healy, Missi Pyle, and Mekhi Phifer. Pandemic‘s plot synopsis: “Pandemic is set in the near future, where a virus of epic proportions has overtaken the planet. There are more infected than uninfected, and humanity is losing its grip on survival. Its only hope is finding a cure and keeping the infected contained. Lauren (Rachel Nichols) is a doctor, who, after the fall of New York, comes to Los Angeles to lead a team to hunt for and rescue uninfected survivors.”

The film looks nuts. Wow. When one of the characters says “think of it like a game,” referencing the group going out into the infected looking for the uninfected, he was telling the absolute truth. The film is half horror movie, have survival video game rolled into one. I have to admit, the different, in-your-face perspective on horror is entertaining.

Whether that makes for a good film remains to be seen.

Pandemic also stars Paul Guilfoyle, Danielle Rose Russell, Nea Dune, Dominic Bogart, Jaime Gallagher, Alexander Ward, Gina Lee, Amanda Baker, Kinjal Dave, Stephanie Langnas, and Jonathan Buckhouse.
