POWERLESS: New Promo Shows the People Behind Wayne Security [NBC]

NBC Unveils New Promo for Powerless

NBC has just released a new promo for their new superhero comedy Powerless, which is set in the DC universe. The trailer gives us a peak into the lives of those working at Wayne Security as they build some very weird inventions to protect citizens from superheroes.

Ever since people got to see the first trailer leaked for Powerless, everyone figured this would be a totally different show from the standard superhero slate of shows we have now. It’s pretty clear that it’s being treated as a workplace comedy as the Wayne Security employees try to come up with some wacky contraptions to help protect their fellow people.

Besides the move to Wayne Security, there are some notable changes from the first trailer as a new cast member has been added on the poster. It appears that NBC may have retooled the pilot, which was shown at last year’s San Diego Comic Con. Perhaps fans just didn’t warm up to the show based off the pilot, leading the development team to tweak the story a bit. It will be interesting to see if any of these changes will hold up when it premieres next month, but it looks like it’s well done.
