AMC‘s Preacher ‘Dallas’ trailer & clip stars Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun, Ruth Negga, Ian Colletti, and Graham McTavish. Guest stars include Bryan Murphy, Robbie Tann, Stella Allen, Michael Beasley, Ronald Guttman, and Paul Ben-Victor.

The good Preacher, Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), pretty much pops his collar, on this one. Of all the shady things Tulip (Ruth Negga) has been keeping in her baggage, for the duration of their relationship, it looks like Runaway Bride wins the Custer’s Last Nerve award.

The synopsis version:

Jesse learns of Tulip’s secret relationship. We discover more of Jesse and Tulip’s past and the darker side of Jesse.

So ‘Dallas’ was the scene of some relevant Young Custer & O’Hare history; but New Orleans will be keeping relevant, thanks to a lot of payback. Payback that will  include some likely swelling, to loose Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) lips, and The Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish) finally making (and breaking) the scene.

More pressingly, however, there looks to be a bonus Hell hath no Fury round. Jesse takes to the stage, this time around, and he’ll be dragging an instrument of ire along, for a tune up. Somewhere between his black-out rage, and his resorting to Power of Command, over Tulip, I’m inclined to think that it may take some divine intervention to get everyone involved – ire instrument, Viktor (Paul Ben-Victor), in particular – out of this bad ending.

Then again, who said it had to be divine…?
